A Fun Filled Weekend

First we had a snowstorm over the weekend so we just HAD to go out and play.

                                  This girl and the camera have a serious love affair going on.

 

Then we came into the house to work on a few school projects for Megan.

She had to make a model of a type of rock called coquina and it had to be edible.

So we made it our of a rice crispy treat

with brown colored marshmallow and some sprinkles for effect.

She also had to make a Yule Log.  I had no idea that it was a looooooong process fun way to spend the afternoon, we used a 'classic recipe'.
