We have Malia !!!! She is gorgeous !! She did not cry at all. The room we had to wait for her in was packed with other parents also waiting. So our guide asked if we could go into a private room to receive her. We went into the room and not more then 3 minuets later she came in and of course I started crying. We have video of it but I have to figure out how to get it from the video recorder. She is just so quiet and sad looking. She always has this really sad look, but she starting to move around a bit more. Here are some pictures to hold you over until I can get the video up. She has mouth ulcers, so that's why you see the scabs on her lips.

I just realized that I can post to the blog but I CANT see any of it, so if there are pictures missing or mistakes let me know !!!
The first is a picture of our "cook" when we ate on the Hutong tour. The second is a picture of the traditional mode of transportation. The third one is Megan and our guide Jill in a rickshaw.
We first went to Tianamen square. It was REALLY crowded! The history was pretty interesting. Let me tell you it was HOT out side. Then we went to the Fobbiden City, I found this area very interesting also. Lots and lots of history here. The best part of the day was the Hutong tour. We took a rickshaw ride through an acient village, the streets were very narrow, but it was a nice ride. We stopped at a local's house and had a home cooked triditional family meal, I thought is was awesome food but Gary and Megan didnt care for it too much.
It took me days but I finally figured this blog thing out in china. China blockes a log of the internet. More to come !!!

I cant believe that in less then 24 hours we will be on a plane on our way to CHINA ! We are packed and ready to go. We will try very hard to post as soon as we get to Beijing, but that all depends on the ability to get on the Internet. Also just a reminder that China is a day ahead of us.

Wow, I cant believe that we leave in 3 days……..
I cant believe its time !!! I can remember that it was only 3 or 4 weeks ago that I was frustrated that things were not happening fast enough and now here we are, ready to go. I cant believe that my dream of 20 years is actually coming true, I have my husband to thank for that. Now all I have to do is talk him into going back~~~~~~~~~~~~someday ;) Hahaha

I found something really cool ! You can track our flight with the following website.
You click on Continental as the airline then the flight number is 89 (for going over)
Click on "find flight". Click on the one that says EWR (Newark, NJ) to PEK (Beijing)
Click on "status" then click on "Launch Live" then click "Go Live" then wait for it to load (approx 30 seconds) you will then see the map with the airplane on it. If you click the zoom you can zoom in to see where we are at. It tells you how long we have been in the air and how long we have to go. Pretty cool !! Don't be sending any missiles our way though. Yikes, come to think of it that's pretty scary.
Our flight number on the way home is 88 and gets to NJ around 2:00PM on August 10th.
